* Floor Exercise: Gymnasts are working on balance, flexibility, and strength. They learn basic somersaults,
acrobatic skills, handstand and cartwheels along with dance elemnts and stretching techniques.
* Vault: Gymnasts apply a great deal of coordination as they run and jump from a spring board to a two footed
landing.
* Trampoline: Gymnasts perform jumping and twisting on a spring bed. Trampolines also teach spatial awareness
and can be a great aerobic workout.
* Rings: Gymnasts and tots use a series of basic acrobatic movements on the rings. This is an excellent appartus
to develop a child's core and upper-body strength. They will learn to perform basic swings, circles, and
isometric holds.
These classes are designed for boys who want to participate in the fun sport of gymnastics at a recreational level.
* Level 1: This program is designed for your 5-10 yr. old gymnast just starting out with the Fundamentals of
gymnastics. This is a 1 hr class. We recommend 2 sessions per week to maximize your childs potential.
* Level 2: This program is designed for your 7-14 yr. old intermediate gymnast. This is a 1 hr 2 session per week
program.
* Level 3: This program is designed for your 7-14 yr. old advanced gymnast. This is a 2 hr class. We recommend
2 sessions per week to maximize your childs potential.
* Level 4: This program is designed for your 7-14 yr. old gymnast who is interested in learning the gymnastics
routines which the level 4 team gymnasts perform, but cannot commit to the team program. It is a 2
hr class. We recommend 2 times a week.
